1. My child’s health. Clark is sicker today and it’s so hard to watch. He’s in relatively good spirits most of the time, but he’s so lethargic and clumsy. He’ll be playing, and just lay down for a few minutes. His nose runs like a faucet and he has a tiny smoker’s cough. But he’s going to get better. I can’t imagine how heartbreaking it must be to have a baby with a real health problem.

2. SB’s been making dinner every night for a week or so. Something good and healthy. It’s nice.

3. My bedroom. I’ve gotten almost zero sleep for the last two nights, and my mom actually took my sick baby today for a little while so I could rest. I spent the time in bed with my laptop and my lists, just enjoying my comfy nest, the nice light, and my pretty view. I never get to just hang out in bed in the middle of the day, so it was a lovely treat.

How exciting that you can see the water from your bedroom!! The house I lived in on N. 27th had a nice water view from the upstairs front bedroom. The thing I miss the most about Tacoma is the sea air and seeing the Puget Sound every single day.
    love to you.

Feel better! Our house was sick ALLLL of December.. granted we have no actual infants to deal with (only a coupla “adults” who act like them occasionally). And how nice your mom could come help!
