Fishing

April 2, 2009 | Clark, Navel Gazing

Just because I feel like I don’t have much to say at the moment, you should not be deprived of the uber-cuterness that is my Clarkie.

Have I ever mentioned how ENORMOUS his feet are?

They’re delicious. I understand why he needs to put them in his mouth.

So, I’ve never done this before, but I need to ask a favor. Could you help me get back on my blogging horse with some topic ideas? Have any burning questions about the care and feeding of a 6 month old? I am expert! (bonus points for saying this in a Karl Hungus voice) Are you one of my few imaginary internet friends? Anything you want to know? IRL peeps, do you remember a funny story that should be recorded for posterity’s sake? (bonus points for saying that last bit in a Count Rugen voice) Whatevs!

Please help my Mama. I stole her brain cells.

  1. Michael Jackson.

  2. Hey it’s your favorite internet stalker (I mean READER) turned photographer here. (I even started a blog!) Here are my random spur of the moment questions for you:

What surprised you most about motherhood? What did you worry about related to day-to-day life that didn’t come to fruition?

Tell us the story of how you and SB met. Is that already on your blog somewhere and my stalker memory has forgotten it?

How goes the photography business and where do you want to take it in the next 5-10 years?

  3. I’m totally distracted by the cuteness.

  4. where you look forward traveling to with Clark, near and distant future.

how much of your freezer has been taken over by baby food purees.

if you have quietly sneakily worried about where he will go to school yet or if that thought is completely off the radar

how proud you are that your baby is so cute and how capable you have been of capturing every moment and if there’s anything about him you wish you could capture on film but cant quite get it. that enough to keep you going for a while? xx

  5. What is different about motherhood from what you imagined? How has your perspective changed?

Describe your biggest dilemma these days.

How have friendships changed since you had kids?

Will you have another child? What are your future plans?

What are the three single most important things you have/do/think about each day NOT related to your baby or husband?

Is your groove back? Do you care? What are you doing or not doing? Have you created a new groove?

On the horizon in the next three months? Year? Five?

Best food you’ve made from scratch in the past week?

Memory from “this day” three, five, ten and twenty years ago.

Biggest Clark-related worry. Biggest SB-related worry.

Best media you’ve experienced in the past week/month, etc…

    Love you, Friend Jenny!

  6. Have you started Clark on People Food yet? How did that go?

  7. (Confession: I don’t want to start her on people food ever. I don’t want her poops to change.)

  8. Hee hee! They do steal your brain cells, don’t they. Hmm … with three kids, it’s a wonder I have any brain cells left … :)

  9. How about your opinion on couples that dress alike…not coordinate, mind you. But wear the same shirt, sweater, coats & hats, etc. I saw some atrocious offenders this weekend. Even THE DOG had on the same sweater!

  10. OK, I am in awe of the adoreableness that is your Clarkie. Oh, my gosh! And those feet do look delicious. In other news, I love your random moment musings and observations. I don’t care if they are mamahood related or not. Pictures of weird signs in the grocery store and your observations on them make my day. I don’t care what you post, as long as you are posting something. Oh, and I am terribly homesick, so anything Tacoma-y is much appreciated!

  11. Thanks so much for all of these suggestions, ladies! I shall answer them all!

  12. I do believe you have the most beautiful baby on the planet.

  13. He is adorable!!!!

I'm Jenny. I'm in my 30's, I live in Tacoma, Wa, and I've been married to SB since we were children. We added baby Clark to the family in December of 08. This blog really has no point, it's just about me trying to live as zestily as possible while sharing observations and rants with you all. Speaking of which, you should start a blog. Blogging kicks ass.
