oooooh….just saw the second caption. tee hee. it gets better. even though one or the other of the girls seems to wake up and need something at least once a night. it is not the endless nursing required in the early months. saskia refused to take a bottle, and because I had to work when she was one month old she simply reversed her schedule and fasted during the day only to power feed all night long. I don’t think I got more than 1 1/2 hours of sleep in a row from July to January of that first year. I thought I was going to die. Literally, so these nighttime interruptions seem nothing compared to that. they don’t bring tears to my eyes anymore.

Impressive and good for you! Aoife began sleeping through the night at 4.5 months. And as for “aware of the date” my neighbor told me it was your birthday. Nice gift, little Clark. Nice gift!

I really hope this wasn’t an April Fool’s Joke – because really, then, the joke would just be on you. Is your birthday really 4/1? If so, I’m really really sorry I missed it! I thought it was later in April. Anyway, your boy is so damn cute in that outfit and hat – great colors to contrast his eyes. And boy are you getting good with the photography, Jen!
