In praise of the cushion day…

For the first time ever, I took an additional day off before going back to work. I usually try to extend my vacation as long as possible, or I feel guilty for going on vacation in the first place, so I hurry right back. I gotta say, I was so, so foolish.

We got home late last night, and today I got to sleep in! Do laundry! Adjust to crappy weather! I actually feel mentally ready to go back to work tomorrow. I’m never not doing this ever again.

Belize was WONDERFUL. It was hot and tropical and delicious. I’ll probably come up with a post or two detailing specific adventures, but here are a few shots in the meantime.

Ahhhh….

Your trip looks like it was amazing. I can’t believe it’s almost September and I have no tan whatsoever. Horrible. And look at your bad self all pregnant in a bikini. Too adorable! Can’t wait to see you Friday!!!

wow, i learned to dive on caye caulker (1992!!!) whilst staying at Daisy’s and your photo of Aaron walking down the main street took me right back to barefoot walking down there every morning to go to my diveschool. That street is so atmospheric. does the lady still walk down to the beach selling fish wraps for lunch? did you have conch stew on your sunset sail. Cant wait to take the kids and Jason there
