Hello, my sweets! How I’ve missed you! Okay! [brisk clap] I have many things to tell you about.
SB is in a show right now. I shall refrain from whining about how he’s gone all the time and just tell you that it’s a great show, full of talent, and if you’re local and into such things as the Rocky Horror Show, you should go! He is a rock and roll supahstah. I have stolen these pictures from the theater’s website for your viewing pleasure. He plays Eddie and Dr. Scott, but these are both Eddie.

Pretty cool, eh?
Next! I wasn’t going to mention it, but the fabulous Kate inquired in the comments of the previous post whether I had danced in the Fremont Solstice Parade this year, as in years past. Well, due to an issue I will cover later this week, I was unable to make it to all the rehearsals this year. But then I got an email soliciting volunteers for the parade, and even though it was breaking my heart not to be in it, I knew I couldn’t miss it entirely. So Saturday morning, I threw together an acceptable ensemble of belly dancing bits and I got to carry a small banner along with the dancers. At first, I was stuck back with the other banner holders who were mostly boyfriends and daughters who were just walking sedately with their signs. That was SUPER boring though, so I scooted up and hung out with the musicians and made up my own dance moves. It was so fun! I loved being able to just groove along how I felt like it without worrying about the routines and get to observe the parade at the same time.
The last thing I want to cover in this potpourrie post is the life-changing development that is Work At Home Wednesdays. That’s right! I am writing this post IN MY PAJAMAS and I don’t have to look over my shoulder to make sure no one catches me farting around. Not only that, I got to sleep TWO HOURS later today, and instead of my evening commute, I will go to the gym and run errands.
And whenever I want, I can go out to my pretty yard and pet my dog, whose soft fur is warm from the sun.

(Please do not notice the dog hair tumbleweeds in the grass. It’s that time of year.)
I want to work from home! But by work I mean, just be in my pjs.
Glad you’re back Jenny. There was nothing to keep me entertained on the web!
Sweet Baby Jesus, that just might be the cutest, most cuddly puppy picture EVAH.
sizzle: You work far too much. You definitely deserve a WAH day.
Marissa: Thanks! Your blog is funny. Are you coming home for a visit any time soon?
JR: I know! She’s the best.
I am so glad you are back. Now I can read my favorite blog again. It’s almost as good as seeing you in person– which was one of the reasons that last night was so fun! And, I am totally with you about the bummer of being a theatre widow. No fun. But it is fun to share your spouse’s spectacularness with so many people. And I am so glad you get your Wednesdays free and a chance to snuggle with warm Freya on your patio! You really should submit Freya to http://puppywar.com/. I think you have a winner!
