Seven Years

SB and I celebrated our seventh anniversary yesterday. Yay us! There was no exchange of wool, copper, or of desk sets

I wish I could follow with an exciting post detailing the festivities, but we were pretty lame this year. We had dinner at Stanley’s and then stopped by my parent’s house to get a present. They got us this. SB conveniently dropped a bottle of San Pellegrino on the tile floor not two hours later, so it came in handy right away. I will definitley report in a couple of weeks upon whether or not it sucks.

We meant to go see Superbad, but we ended up choosing the couch and watching Stay, starring Ewan McGreggor, Naomi Watts, Bob Hoskins and Jeanene Garafalo. Sounds good, right? WRONG. IF that sucker’s in your Netflix queue, delete it immediately.

Despite the less than stellar celebrations, I couldn’t be happier to still be married to SB. I am so very, very fortunate to have a partner who loves me so well.

    Congratulations! 7 years is awesome.

Dude, Stay sucked. So. Bad. I really thought it sounded interesting when I Tivo’d it, but OHMYGOD. Even after thay explained everything at the end, I was like, “Hm. I just don’t care.”

Ah, yes. August 20, 2000. What a lovely day that was. So pretty & full of flowers & good friends. It’s hard to believe that was 7 years ago!
    Congratulations on your anniversary!!

If I had my crap together I’d have sent you a card. Congratuations. Before you know it you’ll be celebrating 10 years and probably have at least one rug rat running around! It’s five for us this New Year’s and somehow we already have 2! Are we getting old? I don’t feel old. loves…hliv

  5. Man, I so missed out on insisting on bronze and pottery this year. To think I let him get away with an hour at the Swiss Kiss event and a happy hour burger n’ beer at Paddy Coyne’s … I’m such a cheap date.

Congrats on seven! From what I’ve read, I assume no itch in sight …

Congratulations, sweetness! Give SB a firm squeeze for me, too.

Tacoma Lady: Yes, yes it is. I planned to post about the bag dryer today and then I was distracted by stooopid msn.

JayAre: THANK YOU! I SO didn’t care! And what was the deal with the bad dialogue? Poor Ewan!

crazy dude: Blah Blah, craziness, I think I want to kill myself.

Ewan: Why do you want to kill yourself?

    Awesome theapist.

dahli: It was a good day, wasn’t it? I would like it if you got married next summer, please. I would like a fabulous event to attend.

Heather: Card Schmard. Yes, we are definitley behind schedule. I always laugh when people with kids tell us to take our time. I’m like, we’ve been married for 7 years! We’re 31! Time has been taken.

tacomachickadee: Nah. No itching here. I think I’ll keep him. He’s so well trained at this point.

  8. Jenny says:

    addled: Will do. :)
