Ahh…the summer. It’s nice when you have events and lovely weather and yard work all happening, but the ol’ blog can get a bit stale.
SB and I have been spending countless hours on The Great Yard Improvement of 2007, and you guys, it looks So. Good. We’re nearly finished, and I promise a Great Reveal, complete with progress pictures, once we finish a few more things.
In the meantime, I give you a fabulous, warm and sunny afternoon at the ballpark…

Stop taking my picture, woman, and let me eat my grilled salmon salad! God!

First beer finished by the first pitch. Excellent.

I-CHI-RO! I-CHI-RO!

They won 9-7, so it was a really fun game to watch. Lots of hits, and fielding and whatnot. Good times!
No freaking way.
Hi Jenny–
In a spasm of nostalgia, I started Googling folks, and came across your extremely zesty blog. I heart it! You are one funny mama. I’ve been lurking for a while, but due to extreme shyness/neuroses I have resisted commenting. Today, however, my inhibitions are down: I went to the dentist and got hopped up on painkillers. Not a bad start to a day. Oh, and I loved the wee film you and SB (hi!) did for the fest-challenge! Happy Monday!
This is Elizaebeth Nielsen-Sheller, from waaay back when, when we children would frolick around PLU
Uh… I mean, IT SUCKED! No one had any fun at all!
(Jesse was supposed to come along, but ended up letting my mom and sister ans sister’s bf use her tickets.
)
Elizaebeth!
Hi! I just saw this comment in my moderation queue and I was so excited! I saw your comments on Dahli’s and Jill’s blogs and I was all hmph! Say hi to me, Lizzie!
Good for you for de-lurking! And thanks for the nice compliments.
I’m off to read your blog and learn about your life. Blogs are SO COOL!
So purty.
Ah, I always enjoy your blog. I aspire to be more “blogish” and less “family album”…. one day….i will keep reading yours for inspiration!
Heather: I know! I love going to games at Safeco.
Tracey: Aw shucks.
I like your family album! You are a really great writer.
