Woman with Kids: Hi! Yes, it is a lovely sage green color, the problem is the ENTIRE house is that color. Really. Good thing we like it.

JayAre: You should totally copy the map idea. Not only is it good for travel dreaming, it's good for geography study, too.

Dahli: I can't wait for you to come visit!

LSGP: I forget how handy you are. Do you know of a particular product we could use? Should I just go to HD and ask someone? Writing you back now...

JayAre: Thanks for asking your Dad. You're a sweetie. Dude. I can talk about Lost all day. Did you see last week's episode about Paolo and Nicki? I LOVED it.

I'd probably try a clear lacquer, varnish or shellac. You want something that will dry to a hard clear finish on top of the art - not an oil that's meant to soak in. You also want something that won't take a lot of finish work - i.e., sanding and subsequent coats - cause you don't want to have to sand it and accidentally ruin your art!

Hope that helps!

p.s. return my e-mail and we'll talk about LOST some more.

I LOVE the map idea! That is so great! I'm completely planning on stealing that idea.

I'm gonna ask my dad about the smell thing, he does wood-y stuff for a living, he might know something.

Sorry, no advice on the smell, but I love the colors... Your walls are a sage-y green and blue, right? (or is my monitor way off?). And the headboard, love the headboard...
