It was with great joy that I lugged my carefully packed Christmas Stuff rubbermaid up from the basement. I love unpacking everything, remembering pretties you forgot all about.
A mysterious wad of newspaper yielded my Mexican nativity set. I bought it a couple of summers ago at a rummage sale.
After everything was put up, we were admiring the festiveness, and SB said, “How come there’re only two wise men?”
That’s right. Only two wise men. We’ve had the set for years and never noticed. There are plenty of folks about. There’s a spare angel, and a shepherdess, which caused his absence to go unnoticed.
BUT THEN, today I went to The Barn Sale where I just happened to find a spare wise man amongst the treasures on display.

That’s hysterical. My husband saw me looking at these pictures and even threw in an interested, “What the HELL?” and then read your post. Which is a big deal (to me) given the fact that he is completely NOT interested in blogs in any way…
